Chandler Elliott, MS, NCC
Child, Adolescent, & Adult Therapy

Chandler is available exclusively as a Telehealth Provider

Chandler is a mental health professional who brings both school counseling and clinical based experience. She has experience working with elementary age children, teenagers, college students, and young adults; in both the individual and group therapy context. Chandler is passionate about meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively toward their goals through a calm and genuine approach.

Chandler uses multiple theories of counseling to work with individuals, such as: cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. She is passionate in helping those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, family and relationship issues, and life transitions.
Chandler also likes to use creative approaches such as Art Therapy for clients who may express themselves in colors, music, drawings, books, and writings rather than just words. She believes through her own experience and counseling others, she has found her passion and can help others find their balance.

For her undergraduate education, Chandler attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she received her Bachelor’s in Child and Family Studies while also serving as a leader for Young Life. She completed her Master’s degree both in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned the Most Outstanding Clinical Award while in her program. She is working towards full Tennessee licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP), under the supervision of Brandy Hall, MA, LPC-MHSP-AS. She currently hold certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Chandler grew up in Chattanooga before coming to Knoxville for college and stayed through graduate school and her first year with Haven.

In 2021, Chandler's husband, Jason, became the chief financial officer (CFO) with Frontier Direct Care, an innovative medical business that provides people with healthcare alternatives to traditional health insurance systems. Feeling a strong sense of calling on their family to be a part of this work, Chandler and Jason relocated to South Texas at the end of 2021 to be a part of this amazing team. And though Chandler does miss being in-person with her Haven clients and co-workers, she is continuing to provide her services through Haven as a telehealth counseling provider.
During time off, she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, painting, and long walks with friends.
