Clinical Supervision for Post-Graduates

After completing their graduate work, most new therapists are required to work under supervision for a few years before becoming independently licensed, this is similar to residency programs for new physicians and is a time for the further refining of one's clinical skills, and a chance to be more deeply mentored in the profession.

Several providers with Haven offer supervision for new therapists as they move towards licensure. Haven has Approved Supervisors (AS) in Tennessee for those seeking licensure as a licensed professional counselor-mental health service provider (LPC-MHSP). We also have those who can supervise those seeking licensure as a licensed marital and family therapist (LMFT) under the standards of AAMFT Approved Supervision.

Please reach out if you interest in supervision.
