Reagan is a mental health professional who works with children, teens, families, couples, and individuals. It takes courage to intentionally seek help during life’s tough phases and circumstances. In her work, Reagan desires to  honor and respect your courage, and in her counseling she strives to offer hope, honest insight, and individualized approaches to meet people in their needs. Reagan's counseling style is a blend of compassionate listening and direct communication,  where she seeks to prepare and equip the individuals and families that she works with to face times of stress, anxiety, grief, depression, transition, and mental health valleys. Reagan desires to work holistically with people,  viewing each person as having both a unique history and future potential growth.

In working the others in therapy, Reagan aim is to create partnerships based in trust,  where you can collaborate with her in creating new opportunities for real-life application, with balanced coping skills and goals, connected to your resources of support and rooted in your personal strengths.

Reagan believes in the power of building, maintaining, and mending healthy relationships – within self, families, and couples. She works with a combination of therapy modalities; such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Play Therapy (PT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); all rooted in attachment and family systems, She approaches each person's situation through a distinctive lens in order to offer encouragement for self-discovery and empowerment. Working with others to identify mindset patterns, practice truthful feedback, and foster personal stability and resiliency.

Reagan  professional background includes a MS degree in Counseling with a School Counseling concentration, which she completed in 2004 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Reagan had the honor of serving as a School Counselor for 15 years, as well as a school consultant/presenter since 2015. Later Reagan went on to complete add-on coursework in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johnson University in Knoxville,  to meet qualifications in the state of Tennessee for licensure application as a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP). She completed her mental health practicum/internship with Jones Family Counseling Center before joining the clinical staff at Haven Counseling Center in 2021. Reagan in currently completing her post-graduate licensure hours under the supervision of Jodi Clark, MA, LPC-MHSP-AS.

 

Personally speaking, Reagan believes that her relationships with her husband and their two sons are her true life’s work and inspiration. Over her career, she has found that the wisdom and awareness she gains from my own family helps provide grace and humility as she approaches the clients with whom I am privileged to work. With her family, Reagan enjoys spending time with friends and extended family, being active outdoors, and hanging out together on our patio.
